Western Region Training Camp |
| JKA Maharashtra state is hosting the Western Regional Training Camp. The Camp will be conducted by Sensei Anand Ratna when he returns from Japan after attending the JKA Headquarters International Spring Training Camp. Dan & Kyu Grading will be held during the Camp. The camp is open to all JKA India members.

27th All Maharashtra Championships |
| The 27th All Maharashtra Championships were held on the 10th & 11th January 2009 at the Mumbai University Sports Pavilion, Marine Lines, Mumbai. . Due to paucity of time, only Individual Events were decided to be held at this championships. Male and Female categories of ages of 8,10,12,14,16 & 18 and adults were divided into 2 divisions of under Brown Belt and Brown and Black Belts. Over 300 participants competed in the 54 events that were conducted successfully over the two days. |

| The Japan Karate Association of India Maharashtra State Branch has received an Invitation from the MKA about an R & J Course it is conducting on the 20th and 21st March 2008. All JKAI Maharashtra members who meet the criteria for the event may kindly contact their district all style bodiues for the forms and send them directly to the General Secretary of the MKA . XXVI STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS |
| The
26th JKAI All Maharashtra Championships will be held on the 5th and 6th of January
at the Bombay University Indoor Stadium,
D Road,, Churchgate, Mumbai. Categories are the same as that of the JKA India Nationals and there will be 2 groups in each event, one for below Brown Belts and one group for Brown and Black Belts. The winners of the Brown and Black Belts will represent Maharashtra State at the JKA India Nationals.
